Update, Wednesday, 9/10: Match Changed to a Scrimmage

The FCCAA determined the SPC vs MDC Volleyball match of 9/6 will be classified as a scrimmage, not a regular season match.

On Monday, September 8 at 1:48 P.M., Miami-Dade’s volleyball coach informed SPC that Miami-Dade considered the match a scrimmage because Ave Marie University did not get a signed game contract from Miami-Dade. SPC considered the contest a regular season match and included it on their schedule. Miami-Dade was questioned by SPC before the match why it was not on their schedule, but they did not respond.

Miami-Dade pointed out that “no contract, no match” and the FCCAA agreed with this position.
