Sonya Featured in St. Pete Times

The St. Petersburg Times ran an article on Sonya Davis, our right-side sophomore from New Orleans. Sonya's family back in New Orleans is having a rough time in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina including several dean and missing members of her extended family. Our heart goes out to Sonya and her family.

SPC Earns National Ranking

For the first time in the school's history, SPC's Women's Volleyball team is nationally ranked. The 9/20 poll on the NJCAA site lists SPC as 16th in the nation with a 13 - 3 record. "We are off to a good start. We started 2 - 2 and have gone 11 - 1 since. This weekend will show were we belong" according to Coach White. SPC plays in the PHCC Tournament this weekend (9/24 & 25). On Friday, SPC plays Miami Dade, 2nd in the nation, and Manatee CC, 11th in the nation.
