SPC Volleyball Starts Season in Perfect Form

SPC Volleyball started the season this weekend with a tri-match hosted by St. John's River CC.

In the first match, SPC won in three games, 30-28, 30-28, 30-19. Game 2 showed both the potential and pitfalls. We suffered the typical second game slump and SJR got out to a big lead and maintained that lead into the 20's. Then our team put it together, minimized errors can came back from a 10 point deficit to win the game.

In the second game, SPC defeated Indian River CC 30-16, 30-23, 30-17. Our improved performance must have been due to the huge chocolate chip cookies Joyce's parents brought!

SPC Volleyball team had good performancs by all players. Our offensive was sparrked by Zuzka hitting outside and Heloisa in the middle. Sarah was passing well and playing great defense along with Lorena and Zuzka.
